we suggest all teacup dog owners to change foods gradually
at a
ratio of  1:5  (new food – old food) to start off,
increase the percentage of new food slowly for about a week.

(^.^did you guess it right?)

although we do encourage owners to develop intimate relationships
with their teacup dogs and share everything in life like a real family,

yet it’s still very important for owners to keep alerted about some types of foods
they must NOT give to their teacup dogs for health and safety reasons.

Teacup Poodle Guideline 11 : Food Types Teacup Dogs Must Avoid

generally speaking, any kind of human food despite varieties,
should not be fed to teacup dogs. especially food containing ___?___,
spices, chemicals  and artificial add-ons to avoid causing overloads
in teacup dogs’ livers and kidneys, some ingredients in these foods
can cause food poisoning  in teacup dogs
and other
much more serious health-related issues.

take onions for example, cooked or not are both going to affect
teacup dogs’
circulatory systems (ie. red blood cells) which can possibly
lead to hematuria (blood in urine),
anemia (lack of blood) or worse, death;
sharp objects such as
chicken bones, even the smallest bits,
after being swallowed by teacup dogs, will cut through their
intestines and other internal organs and therefore the reason why
it’s best not to provide
human food to teacup dogs.
additionally, owners should also avoid mushrooms and other chewy and
difficult-to-digest food types because they are difficult to swallow
for teacup dogs and may cause blockage in teacup dogs’ intestines.

in conclusion, for the sake of teacup dogs’ health,
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE select their foods wisely and very carefully.
