owners need to be patient and allow teacup dogs about
1-2 weeks to adapt to new environments.

(^.^did you guess it right?)

my teacup dogs hovers over food like there’s no tomorrow,
and always eats up whatever’s left
 in the bowl whether
he/she’s physically capable of eating so much or not.

worrying that he/she might choke him/herself on the food one day,
i need to change
this strange eating behaviour of his/hers
as soon as possible. where do i start?

Teacup Poodle Guideline 13 : Protective Eating Behaviour

when a teacup dog hogs down the food as soon as it’s served,
it shows a direct reflection
on the teacup dog’s insecurity towards food
which contributes largely to how owners
educate and feed their teacup dogs.

if your teacup dog once ended up wondering on the streets, this special experience
is
going to make them become very protective about their foods, especially those

half-eaten ones. all that owner needs to do is to ___?___for him/her to acknowledge
that the food is provided by you, as his/her master, and that there’s nothing to feel
insecure about because the food is safe and given to him/her only.

moreover, Teddy Mommy also recommends owners to encourage and reward their
teacup dogs with food and snacks to build a trusting bound
with them first before
trying to change the impatient and protective eating habits of their teacup dogs.
