providing your teacup dogs with enough amounts of dog food,
at a regular 3~5 meals a day and making sure they eat it all
is vital in keeping them healthy.

please help!! my teacup poodle wouldn’t eat the food i buy him/her.
worried that i cannot only feed them with snacks yet
i am afraid they are not getting enough nutrition needed.
what should i do in order to fix their picky appetite??
Teacup Poodle Guideline 6: Teacup Dogs and Their Selective Appetite
having a small and selective appetite appears
to be normal for most teacup poodles.
other than sickness and other health-related factors,
reasons for teacup dogs to eat less than usual can be because
they have been spoiled with too many treats and snacks
between meals throughout the day by the owners or,
there has been changes in the living environments and emotions.
if health and environmental conditions have not changed,
we really need to look in depth at the owner’s behaviours to
find out why their teacup dogs refuse to eat:
have owners been supplying their pets with
excessive amounts of treats outside regular meals or
allowing their teacup dogs to eat human foods?
do they change foods (into stronger flavours) immediately if
their teacup dogs do not seem to like the food given very much?
have the owners been giving teacup dogs extra
attention and cuddles when they are not eating?
have the owners been forcing their pets to eat?
if any situation described above applies to you,
we advice you, as the owner of teacup dogs,
to change your current feeding methods/habits.
first of all, make up your mind and choose only ONE main food supply
that you wish to feed your teacup dogs with in the long run, and
feed them regular amounts at regular hours on a daily basis;
secondly take away the bowls ___?___ minutes
after the feeding time begins, set a time limit on the feeding;
bear in mind that you must ignore your pets’ pleads for food
outside normal feeding times. refrain from
giving them any snacks outside normal feeding hours
before your teacup poodle has leant to eat regularly.
